What you’ll do:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to power generation systems, including air and liquid-cooled generators, as well as transfer switches.
- Diagnose or troubleshoot problems with generators and electrical and mechanical system failures and other warranty issues.
- Prepare and submit compliance, operational, and safety documentation on work completed.
- Communicate with customers and service dispatchers of job progress, parts availability, and cost estimates.
- Travel with company vehicle for service calls inside our territory.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of experience within a mechanical environment.
- Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines and electrical systems.
- Proven experience with leading a team, providing training/guidance, and documentation.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manuals for diagnostics and troubleshooting repairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside.
