Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a premier luxury retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, stockrooms, exterior walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a luxury retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
