Position: Technical Program Coordinator

Experience: 5+ years

Location: Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, Delhi

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Atari's technology team spans infrastructure, DevOps, IT operations, and multiple engineering teams, with many initiatives running in parallel. A large part of this role is keeping that portfolio coordinated: holding the full picture of everything in motion, keeping parallel threads aligned and moving, and building the AI and automation that make this possible at scale. Technical leads own the delivery of their own teams' work; this role complements them by holding the view across teams, connecting dependencies, and keeping shared goals aligned so the portfolio moves forward as a whole.

This is a hands-on, ownership-driven program management role with a strong emphasis on AI and automation. It suits someone who takes ownership of outcomes, brings order to complexity, and is energised by keeping many moving parts on track. Success comes through influence, credibility, and follow-through rather than formal authority.

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned programs and be accountable for their delivery outcomes.
  • Maintain a single, accurate, and current view of all active projects across infrastructure, DevOps, and IT operations, covering owner, status, milestones, blockers, and risks, along with a cross-team dependency map that identifies conflicts before they affect delivery.
  • Track team goals and objectives, monitor progress against them, and keep each team aligned to the outcomes that matter most. Distinguish real progress from activity, and validate reported status through informed questioning.
  • Work with tech leadership to help resolve what is blocking progress and help resolve miscommunication and misalignment between teams.
  • Run the department's operating rhythm as a decision-making forum, ensuring each review concludes with clear owners, decisions, and deadlines that are followed through to closure.
  • Keep Technology and its business and executive stakeholders aligned on scope, priorities, and expectations, translating between technical and business audiences, surfacing concerns early, and communicating issues together with a recommended path forward.
  • Prepare executive updates and decision-ready briefs covering situation, options, recommendation, and the decision required, demonstrating the value Technology delivers in terms the business understands.
  • Design and build automation that reduces manual coordination and reporting work, treating the operating rhythm itself as a system to be engineered and continuously improved.
  • Apply AI tooling to convert meeting transcripts into action items, identify themes across ticket queues, summarise lengthy discussion threads, and draft updates and briefs.
  • Automate status reporting by integrating Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Slack or Teams, including early detection of schedule slippage, risk flagging, and proactive reminders to owners ahead of milestones.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards for each team covering delivery health, operational performance, and progress against goals, using metrics that reflect genuine improvement rather than volume of activity.
  • Identify recurring manual work across the operations organisation and progressively eliminate it through scripting, low-code tooling, and AI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in engineering, infrastructure, IT operations, DevOps, technical delivery, or technical program management, with a track record of driving technical projects across multiple teams.
  • A strong aptitude for AI and automation, with hands-on experience using AI tools and a track record of automating manual and repetitive work. This is central to the role.
  • Strong program management fundamentals, and a clear ownership mindset with evidence of taking responsibility for outcomes rather than coordinating them. Comfort operating with ambiguity and structuring your own work independently.
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to read people and situations accurately, build trust quickly, and work effectively across teams. This is one of the most important qualities for the role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders, present credibly to a senior audience, and constructively challenge optimistic assessments while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong data literacy, with the ability to build KPI dashboards and reporting from delivery and operational data and define metrics that reflect genuine progress. Sufficient technical literacy to follow discussions on deployments, incidents, cloud infrastructure, and dependencies, and to assess reported progress with confidence. Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Bonus Points

  • Python or an equivalent scripting language, applied to reporting, integration, or automation work.
  • Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, or Power Automate, or with building against REST APIs.
  • SQL, and experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Grafana.
  • Experience integrating LLMs or AI services into internal tools and workflows.
  • Examples of manual or repetitive processes you have identified and successfully automated.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with an ITSM platform such as ServiceNow, and exposure to audit or compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
  • Exposure to SRE practices, incident management, or on-call operations.
  • Prior experience supporting a senior technology leader.

PMP, PRINCE2, and Scrum certifications are welcome but are not a requirement for this role.
