ISTC | Head of Operations, Training and Quality

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Head of Operations, Training and Quality to join our client's team.

This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of local and international training programmes. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the selected candidate will oversee training operations, quality assurance, instructor management, regulatory compliance, and international project delivery.

The role requires a strategic and hands-on professional who can maintain high operational and quality standards while supporting business growth and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will manage training resources, projects, budgets, instructors, and operational processes, ensuring that all programmes meet relevant industry standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead training operations, including scheduling, resources, equipment, logistics, and programme delivery.
• Manage local and international training projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and client expectations are achieved.
• Maintain quality assurance, accreditation, compliance, and audit standards across all training activities.
• Recruit, develop, assess, and manage instructors to ensure high levels of competency and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and support the development of customised training solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Significant experience within the fire service, emergency response, safety training, or a related industry.
• Proven experience managing training operations, projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of international fire and safety training standards, accreditations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing quality systems, audits, instructor performance, and training programmes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, project management, and problem-solving skills.
