Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage a small team responsible for overseeing the operations of an established third-party procurement service provider. The successful candidate will lead five direct reports in ensuring seamless integration, operational efficiency, and compliance with Raytheon procurement policies and standards. This role is critical to supporting the company’s strategic objectives by optimizing supplier performance and delivering value through third-party partnerships.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and provide leadership to five employees responsible for day-to-day oversight of the third-party procurement service provider.
  • Develop and implement processes to monitor and evaluate service provider performance, including KPIs, SLAs, and compliance with Raytheon procurement policies.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, program management, and finance, to address procurement needs and resolve escalated issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance through the third-party service model.
  • Support the integration of third-party procurement activities into Raytheon’s existing systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and insights to senior leadership on the performance and value delivered by the third-party provider.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, or Program Management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
  • Experience supporting projects, deployments, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
  • Experience with continuous improvement.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Supplier management experience.
  • DoD purchasing experience preferred.
  • Data-driven decision-making experience.
  • Risk and compliance awareness experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically if required
  • Experience with SAP and Six Sigma

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
