What you’ll be doing...

  • Performing code analysis, static code tools usage and any additional tools to produce good quality code.
  • Architect and engineer scalable full-stack applications to enforce enterprise crypto-agility, automating PKI workflows and integrating quantum-safe algorithms (PQC) across distributed cloud environments.
  • Implementing non-functional requirements - performance, scalability, reliability, extensibility etc.
  • Analyzing architecture, relationships between systems and system flows.
  • Understanding Cyber Security Product level requirements and converting them into technical requirements
  • Maintaining high levels of engagement with onshore SMEs, management, business, local management on the projects and programs.
  • Building a high performing team culture.
  • Working closely with the business team, and other internal IT teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Define end to end architecture for enterprise level applications with current advanced technologies
  • Design, develop and implement scalable/pluggable Angular/Node/AWS based applications
  • Evaluating and recommending new technologies and updating versions of existing ones.
  • Designing/Developing reusable framework.

What we’re looking for...

Verizon is looking for a dynamic and talented individual for the PQC Team.

The Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) project focuses on securing organizational data against emerging quantum threats by identifying security vulnerabilities and enhancing data protection at the IP level. The team will assess and address potential weaknesses, ensuring resilience against quantum computing-based attacks. By enriching data from every IP within the organization, the project strengthens threat intelligence and fortifies security protocols, enabling a future-proof defense against evolving cyber risks.
 

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in implementing Object Oriented Web Programming and dev experience on Angular, Node JS, Java Rest API, Spring Boot, AWS, Gitlab, Security Scan Tools, DynamoDB, SpringBoot, Oracle PL/SQL Technologies.
  • Experience in developing and managing customer-facing apps
  • Experience in AWS and other Cloud technologies
  • Foundational understanding of core cryptographic concepts (symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, and SSL/TLS certificates).
  • Familiarity with Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) frameworks (NIST standards like ML-KEM/ML-DSA) and concepts around crypto-agility.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and integrating Generative AI (Gen AI) solutions and Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) to build standardized integrations between AI assistants, foundational models, and external data sources/tools.
  • Experience building AI-driven features using modern frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI/Anthropic APIs) within a cloud-based full-stack environment.
  • Experience in System Design and Architecture
  • Ability to design and implement solutions with ease of use.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and projects.

  • AWS Certification
  • Crypto Project Experience
