Description
Zoetis Zaventem is looking for a temporary (6 months contract) Inbound Logistics Coordinator.
The Inbound Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the execution of the necessary daily activities that ensure the timely receipt of products arriving at the Global Distribution Center. This requires multiple contacts with supplying sites and a network of supply chain partners and carriers around the world.
The Inbound Logistics Coordinator is part of the ZED team and the Global Supply Chain (SC) and Network Study Department.
Essential Responsibilities
Inbound Transport Planning
- Monitoring & following up the upcoming Inbound shipments.
- Inbound planning forecast per transport mode.
- Organize the daily Inbound delivery plan at the LSP (Logistics Service Provider) taking into consideration the LSP Inbound capacity per product type.
- Manage priorities with freight forwarders and LSP.
Inbound Reception at LSP
Organize the receipt process of products arriving at LSP warehouse, including but not limited to:
- Monitoring & following up the upcoming shipments
- Inbound Transport Planning
- Inbound related documentation: Inbound (IBD) creation (Migo’s), upload packing list in Veeva Vault, upload Certificate of Analysis (CoA) & Certificate of Compliance (CoC)
- Follow-up of customs formalities, including timely provision of import and/or export documentation
- Goods Receipt follow up
- Samples management
- Inbound deviations management
Act as point of contact for day-to-day customer service inquiries.
Returns
Organize the returns to suppliers.
Plant Data ownership.
NL02 & NL03 Plant Data Steward (Master Data Governance (MDG) & Safety Data Sheet (SDS)) and New Product coordination with Warehouse.
Reporting & Purchase Order (PO)
Inbound KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators): Transport, Supplier & Warehouse Coordinates.
Management of all the Purchase Order and invoicing processes for vendors.
Claims & Deviations
Register Inbound Deviations & Claims.
Coordinates with Zoetis Transport Operations and Zoetis Supply Chain Quality Operations any operational incidents that may impact Quality.
Coordinate with LSP and Quality any Inbound operational incidents that may impact Quality.
Seek opportunities to improve existing Inbound systems, processes and Performance.
Decision making/Governance
Escalation process
Deal with issues that do not require escalation as not impacting product on the market(s).
Escalate any issue for products on the market or counterfeit products.
Escalate any service performance issue of the LSP.
Qualifications
Bachelor / master’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration
