Job Description

As a Security Officer Corporate Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support people and property while working with an agile, reliable team that leads with care, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests by following security-related procedures, access protocols, and site-specific policies at a technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts, unusual activity, and security-related concerns according to established procedures.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and client personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
