The restaurant located inside Cincinnati Downtown Hotel is looking to hire a Host/Hostess. For AM and PM. Full or part-time. Everyone is required to be able to work mostly weekend am or pm shifts. Company: Cincinnati Downtown Hotel. Our luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Cincinnati needs am/pm -time working shifts along with evenings/weekends. We take pride in every detail. - Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
This position is for the Hotel Food & Beverage Department.
Functions of our Host/Hostesses include:
- Greets and seats guests presents menus to guests and informs them of special catches and soups.
- Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests9 expectations.
- Takes names on a waiting list.
- Runs the floor plan board.
- Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
- Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
- Cleans, organizes, and stocks menus in the host area.
- Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
- Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Fills to-go orders, if applicable.
- Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
- Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
- Performs other duties as directed. food runner bussing table if needed helping server and room service delivery food.
