Job Summary

 

Ensure the timely provision of qualified human and material resources required to guarantee aircraft loading and unloading in accordance with the load plan and the specific instructions and directives of client airlines, while complying with safety, security, and Swissport Morocco standards.

Ensure on-time flight departures and coordinate with Traffic, the dispatcher, and representatives of the assisted airlines.

 

Your activities

  • Ensure the availability of equipment and team required for flight handling within the allocated time:
  • Check the cleanliness and condition of the required equipment before use and report any malfunction to the station mechanic.
  • Assign tasks to team members according to their skills in a timely manner and position ground handling equipment and passenger stairs.
  • Correctly position the required equipment at the aircraft upon arrival, ensuring that no object can damage the aircraft.
  • Provide clear and precise instructions to the team regarding the load plan to facilitate loading and unloading operations, in accordance with loading instructions and specific airline directives.
  • Ensure that ground support equipment is handled only by authorized personnel.
  • Ensure aircraft loading and unloading according to loading instructions and airline directives:
  • Participate in preparing the load plan.
  • Supervise and ensure loading and unloading operations in the aircraft holds in compliance with the load plan.
  • Inform the turnaround supervisor of any changes to the load plan whenever the planned distribution cannot be respected.
  • Dispatch containers for delivery progressively during unloading, ensuring that all baggage at TRI level has been collected by the forklift driver before closing the holds.
  • Ensure transfer of transit loads (baggage, cargo, and mail) in case of aircraft change.
  • Guarantee the safety of the aircraft, passengers, crew, and staff by strictly complying with all safety measures and directives.
  • Report to management any anomaly, incident, aircraft damage, or defect identified during the turnaround.
  • Check proper locking of containers in the hold upon arrival and departure.
  • Submit the completed and signed load plan to the turnaround supervisor after making final corrections.
  • Report to the responsible manager for billing any out-of-contract services provided to assisted airlines.
  • Manage lashing equipment and ensure the stand is clear of any equipment before flight departure.
  • Maintain good relations and close contact with airport authorities and representatives of assisted airlines.
  • Ensure staff presence at the workplace and compliance with working hours.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency in task execution.
  • Ensure compliance with the dress code.
  • Ensure discipline and proper conduct of the team.
  • Ensure correct application of procedures, standards, rules, and performance controls.
  • Communicate instructions to the next team to ensure smooth operational continuity.
  • Support and develop team members and new recruits through knowledge transfer.
  • Identify and mentor employees with potential.
  • Promote a positive and friendly working environment.
  • Support the implementation of the Safety Management System and the Quality System in accordance with ISO 9001 Version 2008 standards.
  • Report any anomaly or event related to non-compliance with Safety standards to the DQHSE.

Your profile

  • Minimum Education

    High school diploma (Baccalaureate) or Bac +2 level.

  •  

    Minimum Experience

    5 to 7 years of experience in Ramp services.
