Description
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and functional requirements for a high-performance electronic trading platform, translating business needs into clear product priorities.
- Design intuitive user journeys and workflows for pricing, trade execution, and order management.
- Define end-to-end business processes across the trading lifecycle, from pre-trade workflows through execution and post-trade events.
- Produce detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies and Jira.
- Partner closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable platform enhancements.
- Lead requirement gathering, solution design, prioritization, and delivery while ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years' experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Senior Technical Business Analyst within capital markets technology.
- Strong knowledge of electronic trading platforms and complex financial products, ideally within FX, derivatives, or structured products.
- Experience designing workflows and user interfaces for institutional trading applications, pricing platforms, or execution systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proven experience working in Agile development environments with Jira.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from analysis through implementation.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol or other electronic trading connectivity standards is advantageous.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with institutional trading, pricing, or execution platforms.
- Familiarity with derivatives or structured financial products.
- Exposure to electronic trading protocols and front-to-back trading workflows.
