Description
As our HR & ESG data analyst, you'll turn data into meaningful insights that help Another Star make smarter decisions, meet regulatory requirements and drive positive impact for both people and the planet. Working across HR and ESG, you'll collect, analyse and report on data ranging from carbon emissions and energy consumption to diversity, health & safety and other workforce metrics.
You'll become the go-to expert for trusted ESG and HR data, helping shape how we measure, report and improve our performance. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and analyse workforce, environmental and social data.
- Develop meaningful dashboards, reports and insights that support informed business decision-making.
- Collect and analyse greenhouse gas emissions, energy and water data to track progress towards our Net Zero and sustainability ambitions.
- Maintain ESG benchmarking and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support ESG and HR in regulatory reporting such as CSRD (ESRS S1), the EU Pay Transparency Directive, GRI, GRESB, CRREM, IFRS, and external audit and assurance requests.
- Coordinate third-party assurance activities and prepare supporting evidence for audits.
- Partner with HR to identify trends, improve data quality and reporting processes, and deliver meaningful people insights.
- Support hotel operations, property and technical teams with energy, utilities and environmental performance data.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate reporting and integrate non-financial data into wider business intelligence platforms.
Qualifications / skills
- A degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, HR Analytics or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting or business intelligence, ideally within sustainability, ESG or HR.
- Experience supporting compliance, regulatory reporting or audit processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools are an advantage.
- Experience working with multiple datasets while maintaining high standards of data quality.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and standards is desirable.
- A curious mindset, strong attention to detail and a passion for using data to drive positive change.

Location / hours
- Leiden Support Office, next to the Leiden Centraal station. Hybrid working is possible, on average two days in the office. Not fully remote. This is a full-time role.
