Hazardous Waste Lab Technician

What You'll Be Doing
- Perform sampling, testing, and analysis of hazardous waste and raw materials using established laboratory procedures
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, test results, and regulatory documentation
- Calibrate, inspect, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance
- Support environmental compliance efforts through data collection and reporting
- Collaborate with operations and environmental teams to identify and resolve material quality or compliance issues

- Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques, sample handling, and analytical methods
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and interpret data
- Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards
- Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment and adapt to changing priorities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
