Piano performance studies instructor responsible for one-on-one lessons for piano majors

Duties/Responsibilities

• Arrange one on one meetings with students to practice and refine skills.

• Help students work on areas that need improvement.

• Encourage students to challenge themselves.

• Foster a healthy and supportive learning environment.

• Identify when students need additional support. 

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

• Master's Degree

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in instrument of specialty.

• Ability to work well with students.

• Ability to work with multiple schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years prior teaching experience at the University level or in a private studio.

• Master’s degree (minimum) in instrument of specialty, in pedagogy, performance or Music Ed.

• Some professional performance experience.

Compensation Pay Range:

$50 per hour
