Clinical Nurse - ICU | St Andrews War Memorial Hospital

Employment Term: Two Permanent Part Time positions with 72 hours per fortnight.

​Location: located opposite Roma St Parklands, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is just a short walk to Brisbane city
Remuneration: $55.63- $59.61 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in St Andrew’s War Memorial

As a Clinical Nurse in our ICU you will provide exceptional patient care in the areas of your clinical expertise whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team through effective decision making and support, you will lead by example through exceptional communication, customer service and patient advocacy.

What makes a difference for us?

• Minimum 2 years' post graduate Registered Nursing experience within ICU
• Critical Care Certificate desirable or working towards one
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship
• An ability to coordinate and prioritise your wards clinical load
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvements

• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
