What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
- Partner with veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and patient care
- Collect laboratory samples and perform accurate in-house diagnostic testing
- Administer medications and monitor hospitalized patients
- Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia within the RVT scope of practice
- Educate clients about preventative care, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate medical records that support excellent continuity of care
- Create calm, compassionate, low-stress experiences for patients and clients
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional medical care every day
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Current Maryland Registered Veterinary Technician license or eligibility for licensure
