- Strong foundation in software engineering principles, design patterns, and modern development methodologies.
- Proven expertise in Java, SQL, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Experience designing and building scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise applications.
- Proficient in developing REST APIs, API design, Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT, and service-to-service communication.

- Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Experience with API Gateway and API Management, including authentication, authorization, routing, rate limiting, and traffic management.
- Proficient in unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and related testing frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills across application, platform, and infrastructure layers.
- Knowledge of resiliency patterns including Circuit Breaker, Retry, Timeout, and Bulkhead.
- Ability to lead technical design discussions, perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with engineering, architecture, security, product, and business stakeholders
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Having knowledge on Banking and Financial is preferred
- Knowledge of Open Banking, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), financial services platforms, payment processing, and industry security and compliance requirements.
- Experience working within cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, including cloud-native architecture patterns.

- Familiarity with front-end and mobile technologies such as Angular, React, Kotlin, Swift, Xcode, or similar frameworks.
- Experience contributing to architectural roadmaps, technology modernization initiatives, and platform engineering efforts.
