The Quality Engineer reports directly to the Quality Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and the Quality Management System by monitoring and controlling the quality characteristics generated in the production processes. The Engineer will be responsible for participating in problem-solving activities within multidisciplinary teams from production, maintenance, quality, and process control. The Quality Engineer is responsible for leading solutions to problems arising from root cause analysis.
ABOUT THE JOB
Root cause & corrective actions (FTA, 8D, 5W, DMAIC, Ishikawa, PDCA).
Put into practice the tools and standards MSA, SPC, APQP, FMEA, Control plan, VDA6.3, IATF, ISO 9001
Monitoring the management of processes and mapping them such as: Injection, plastic injection, stamping processes, electronics manufacturing processes, final assembly processes.
Coordinate root cause analysis within the core team, process mapping, and follow-up on internal and external corrective actions resulting from KPI or customer complaint analysis.
Lead the monitoring of KPI compliance, including customer complaint scrap, FPY, and 5S.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's or university degree in Engineering
3+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably in the automotive sector)
Experience with global manufacturing companies
Proficiency in Excel
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
Advanced English
