About the Role
We are seeking experienced Emergency Department and Intensive Care Registered Nurses to join Alice Springs Hospital. You'll work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced acute environment while supporting patients from across Central Australia.
Key responsibilities

Deliver safe, evidence-based care within the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring

Recognise and respond to patient deterioration and emergency situations

Administer medications, blood products, and advanced therapies within scope of practice

Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health teams

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and standards

Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in a culturally diverse healthcare setting

What you'll need

Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1)

Minimum 2 years post-graduate Emergency Department or Intensive Care nursing experience

Demonstrated experience working in a high-acuity Emergency Department and/or ICU

ALS certification highly regarded

Triage experience preferred for Emergency Department applicants

Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced acute environment
