Description
Role: Registered Manager – Children's Residential Care
Location: Earls Barton, NN6
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Up to £54,500 per annum + performance bonuses
What will you be doing?
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of a small children's residential home for young people with EBD.
- Leading, supervising and developing the staff team, including rotas, inductions and supervisions.
- Managing Ofsted inspections, Regulation 44 visits and ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations.
- Working alongside an in-house psychologist to deliver therapeutic care.
- Building positive relationships with local authorities, families and external professionals.
- Promoting safeguarding and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
Experience/qualifications required:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
- Experience managing or deputising within a children's residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and quality standards.
- Minimum Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Enhanced DBS.
