Senior SAP Program Manager

An established international technology and transformation consultancy based in Germany is seeking a Senior SAP Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale transformation initiatives.

You will assume overall responsibility for major SAP programmes, working closely with senior client stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams. The position combines programme leadership, commercial oversight, stakeholder management and SAP expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes through the complete delivery lifecycle.
• Establish effective programme governance, delivery structures and decision-making processes.
• Manage scope, budgets, schedules, quality, risks, resources and dependencies.
• Build productive relationships with executive stakeholders, programme sponsors and governance boards.
• Align business, technology and delivery stakeholders around shared objectives.
• Anticipate delivery challenges and lead the resolution of critical issues and escalations.
• Coordinate geographically distributed teams and multiple implementation workstreams.
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to project managers and consulting teams.
• Monitor programme performance and maintain clear, accurate reporting.
• Support proposals, solution development and selected business-development activities.
• Contribute to the continued improvement of programme delivery practices and tools.

You will bring:

• Substantial experience leading complex SAP programmes in consulting or enterprise transformation environments.
• Successful responsibility for at least one complete SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Experience managing international, multi-workstream programmes involving senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of programme governance, financial management, risk management and commercial delivery.
• The ability to communicate credibly with executive stakeholders and translate strategic objectives into executable plans.
• A calm and structured approach to resolving complex delivery challenges.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• An understanding of how automation, data and emerging technologies can improve programme delivery and business outcomes.
• Professional fluency in German and English.
• Willingness to travel according to project requirements.
