POSITION SUMMARY
Entrega is seeking an experienced Employee Performance & Development Manager to lead initiatives that strengthen employee performance, professional development, manager effectiveness, and employee engagement across the organization.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the programs and practices that help employees understand what is expected of them, receive meaningful feedback, develop their capabilities, and perform successfully within Entrega. The Employee Performance & Development Manager will also partner closely with managers and leaders to strengthen their ability to set expectations, coach employees, develop talent, recognize strong performance, and address performance challenges effectively.
This is a hands-on role for a professional who enjoys building programs and then driving their successful implementation. The ideal candidate combines strong HR and talent-management expertise with project leadership, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills and is comfortable influencing outcomes across multiple teams and levels of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Employee Performance Management
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Entrega's employee performance management framework.
- Coordinate performance management cycles and ensure managers and employees understand expectations, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Develop practical tools and guidance for setting employee expectations, providing feedback, evaluating performance, and documenting outcomes.
- Partner with managers to improve the quality and consistency of employee performance conversations.
- Support managers in identifying and addressing employee performance concerns in partnership with HR leadership.
- Help ensure performance management practices are applied consistently and effectively across the organization.
- Employee Development & Career Growth
- Develop and coordinate programs that help employees strengthen their capabilities and grow professionally.
- Establish practical approaches to employee development planning that connect performance, capabilities, career interests, and business needs.
- Partner with managers to identify employee development needs and appropriate development opportunities.
- Support the development of career paths, competency frameworks, and other tools that clarify expectations and opportunities for growth.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Support initiatives focused on developing high-performing and high-potential employees.
- Manager Effectiveness
- Develop tools, resources, and programs that strengthen managers' ability to lead and develop their employees.
- Coach and advise managers on setting expectations, providing feedback, recognizing performance, developing employees, and addressing performance challenges.
- Develop and facilitate manager training and development initiatives.
- Identify recurring management challenges and develop practical, scalable solutions.
- Promote consistent management practices while recognizing the needs of different teams and functions.
- Employee Engagement & Recognition
- Develop and coordinate initiatives designed to strengthen employee engagement and connection to Entrega.
- Support employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and other employee listening programs.
- Analyze employee feedback, identify meaningful themes, and partner with leadership to translate findings into action.
- Develop and coordinate recognition programs that reinforce meaningful contributions, strong performance, and company values.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of engagement and recognition initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Employee Communications
- Coordinate employee communications related to workforce programs, initiatives, organizational updates, and employee resources.
- Partner with leadership and other functions to ensure important employee information is communicated clearly and consistently.
- Develop communication plans and supporting materials for workforce initiatives.
- Help employees understand available programs, resources, expectations, and development opportunities.
- Continuously improve communication practices and channels based on employee and leadership needs.
- Workforce Performance Initiatives
- Lead assigned workforce initiatives from planning through implementation and ongoing operation.
- Develop project plans, milestones, communications, tools, and supporting materials necessary to successfully implement initiatives.
- Coordinate stakeholders across HR, leadership, and business functions to maintain progress and accountability.
- Establish measures of success and provide visibility into initiative progress and outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve workforce practices as Entrega grows.
- Workforce Performance Insights
- Develop meaningful measures and reporting related to employee performance, development, engagement, and manager effectiveness.
- Analyze workforce information and employee feedback to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide leadership with actionable insights into workforce performance and development needs.
- Measure the effectiveness of workforce programs and recommend improvements based on results.
QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications reflect the experience, capabilities, and attributes typically required to perform successfully in this role.
- Experience
- 5–8+ years of progressive Human Resources, talent management, organizational development, learning and development, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing or leading employee performance management, employee development, talent management, or related workforce programs.
- Experience partnering with managers and leaders on employee performance and development.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs or initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Experience within professional services, consulting, technology services, or another fast-paced, client-focused organization preferred.
- Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of employee performance management, employee development, talent management, and manager effectiveness practices.
- Demonstrated ability to translate workforce needs into practical programs, processes, tools, and resources.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives to completion.
- Strong coaching, facilitation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to influence managers and stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and translate information into practical recommendations.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a growing organization.
- Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other relevant professional certification preferred but not required.
