Associate Auto Claims Adjuster
Our client, a highly respected national property and casualty insurance organization, is seeking Auto Claims Adjusters to join their claims team through a contract-to-hire opportunity. As an Associate Auto Claims Adjuster, you will play an important role in supporting policyholders through the claims process following an unexpected loss. This position offers the opportunity to develop claims expertise while working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

- Starting pay: $24.00/hour

Hybrid Schedule

Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage non-complex personal auto insurance claims across multiple states
- Review claim files for completeness and obtain missing information when needed
- Communicate with policyholders in a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused manner
- Document claim activity and maintain accurate electronic claim files
- Coordinate appraisals, rental vehicles, and vendor services
- Establish and manage claim-related reserves following established guidelines
- Collect and process supporting claim documentation
- Monitor claims through resolution and communicate next steps to customers
- Assist with inbound claim inquiries and identify files requiring escalation
- Meet performance and service metrics while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- bachelor's degree required
- 1-3 years of customer service, financial services, insurance, hospitality, or related experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused approach with strong empathy and professionalism
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
