GEOINT Systems Integrator - Expert Level
Mission Intelligence Group is seeking an experienced and strategic GEOINT Systems Integrator to support enterprise transformation initiatives across GEOINT mission systems. This is an opportunity to lead complex integration and modernization efforts, influence enterprise architecture decisions, and help shape the future of GEOINT capabilities across the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate brings deep systems engineering expertise, a strong understanding of mission requirements, and the ability to bridge operational needs with technical solutions.
Your Role
As an Expert-Level GEOINT Systems Integrator, you will lead enterprise engineering, architecture, and integration efforts supporting NGA mission systems. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, mission stakeholders, and mission partners to evaluate current capabilities, identify modernization opportunities, and develop technical solutions that improve mission effectiveness. This role spans the full Systems Engineering and Integration lifecycle, including architecture, requirements, CONOPS development, testing, integration, and transition to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture & Engineering Analysis
- Perform architecture gap analyses and support development of future-state enterprise architectures.
- Conduct engineering assessments to support GEOINT mission and IT investment decisions.
- Analyze enterprise baselines and allocate requirements to architecture components.
- Ensure traceability across requirements, architecture, interfaces, and program execution.
- Translate mission and customer needs into technical requirements and solution recommendations.

Systems Integration & Modernization
- Support enterprise-wide integration activities across NGA Program Executive Offices (PEOs).
- Synchronize engineering efforts and maintain enterprise baselines for:
- Architecture
- Requirements
- Interfaces
- Apply systems engineering and integration expertise to modernize GEOINT architectures and capabilities.
- Support mission integration initiatives leveraging Joint Enterprise Ground and Space Architecture knowledge.
- Lead end-to-end integration projects from planning through Transition to Operations (TTO).
Digital Engineering & Project Planning
- Develop and maintain within NGA's Digital Engineering Environment:
- Integrated Project Plans
- Requirements
- Epics
- Target-State Architectures
- CONOPS
- Roadmaps
- Develop project schedules, engineering artifacts, risk documentation, and implementation plans.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs).
Mission & Capability Delivery
- Support integrated capability delivery initiatives across:
- Analytic Modernization
- Collection Management
- Data Services
- Foundation GEOINT
- Information Technology Modernization
Leadership & Strategic Contributions
- Provide thought leadership and identify opportunities to expand mission impact.
- Define project plans, deliverables, execution timelines, and resource requirements.
- Participate in NGA Governance, Configuration Management, and Risk Management processes.
- Help define and improve system integration methodologies and best practices.
- Drive adoption of Agile methodologies, Digital Engineering practices, and enterprise collaboration.
Location

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related STEM field
- OR 18+ years of Systems Integrator experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 18+ years of expert-level experience in:
- Engineering, design, and analysis of IT or related systems
- System design, development, analysis, and documentation across all lifecycle phases
- Developing engineering standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Expert-level experience supporting government or industry programs involving:
- DoD/IC Acquisition Processes
- Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI access and successfully complete a polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with or working knowledge of the GEOINT TCPED Architecture, including:

- Demonstrated knowledge of:
- National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG)
