Job Summary

The Sr. Associate Director, Guild Partnerships is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and management of seven (7) CHOC Guilds—community volunteer groups dedicated to raising funds in support of children and families served by CHOC. This role provides leadership and operational support to ensure alignment across all guilds, including coordinating meeting schedules, developing and managing event budgets, and ensuring activities support the strategic priorities of the CHOC Foundation and hospital. The Associate Director oversees the planning and execution of guild fundraising events, ensuring they remain within budget, achieve financial goals, and represent CHOC and Rady Children’s Health professionally within the donor community. Key responsibilities include sponsorship development, event planning and logistics, communications strategy and execution, vendor management, and volunteer recruitment, engagement, and administration.

Pay Range

Minimum $71,802 Midpoint $107,702 Maximum $143,582

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

Required: Five (5) years in healthcare and/or non-profit settings.

Preferred: Experience managing committees and non-profit support groups.

Specialized Skills

Required: Experience providing administrative and operational support to volunteer committees, leadership teams, and fundraising stakeholders, including the preparation and distribution of sponsorship and fundraising materials. Ability to coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement efforts to support fundraising campaigns, events, and donor initiatives. Experience organizing and supporting committee meetings, donor stewardship activities, engagement events, tours, and presentations, including scheduling, logistics coordination, agenda preparation, and meeting documentation. Knowledge of administrative processes, including reimbursement requests, vendor payments, purchase requisitions, service requests, and other organizational workflows. Experience tracking sponsorship commitments, managing invoicing and collections, and coordinating with vendors, venues, and service providers to support successful event execution. Ability to oversee the production of event and campaign collateral, including invitations, programs, sponsorship materials, signage, promotional items, digital content, and social media assets. Experience preparing mailing lists, donor communications, solicitation materials, and event-related correspondence to support fundraising and engagement objectives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud Luminate, and Convio.
