Description
We are looking for a Production Scheduler to join our team in Tuas. We will propose a fixed term contract with a duration of around 12 months.

The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure the efficient execution of production plans. The Production Scheduler develops and maintains work order schedules, monitors production performance against plan, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to address material shortages, capacity constraints, and demand changes. This role supports on-time delivery, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives through effective use of ERP and planning systems while ensuring production schedules remain aligned with business priorities.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
- Create, release, and maintain production work orders in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS).
- Develop daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, material availability, and capacity.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address changing priorities and operational constraints.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to resolve shortages and bottlenecks.
- Analyze schedule adherence and support recovery plans for delayed production orders.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data required for scheduling activities.
- Communicate schedule changes, risks, and recovery actions to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance schedule stability and operational efficiency.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Production Scheduling, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material availability, capacity planning, and production execution.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems, including work order and inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
- Proactive, detail-oriented team player with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the flexibility to support critical production requirements, including occasional after-hours or weekend activities.
