Part-Time History Teacher – 2 Days per Week (After Easter Start)

 

Local Education are working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school in the Billericay area to appoint a part-time History Teacher from after Easter.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-established Humanities department, with strong leadership and a positive school environment.

The Role:

• Teaching History across KS3 and KS4

• 2 days per week (flexible on days)

• Planning and marking in line with school expectations

• Starting after Easter, with potential for extension

• Well-regarded secondary school with strong outcomes

• Supportive SLT and collaborative department

• Good behaviour and clear systems in place

• Easily accessible from Billericay, Wickford and surrounding areas

The Ideal Candidate:

• QTS (or equivalent)

• Experience teaching History in UK secondary schools

• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge

• Professional, reliable, and able to integrate quickly
