Cemetery Service Representative

Description

We are searching for a high-character, self-driven, and customer service-minded individual who can impact our team and customers. We work outside in cemeteries around the Upstate area of South Carolina to provide gravedigging, burial vault installation and servicing, and all aspects of graveside setup to our customers. You must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions to provide top-notch customer service in all aspects. We are open 7 days a week, year- round, except Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

• Ability to use various motorized equipment and hand tools 
• Vault delivery and installation
• Casket delivery
• Set tents and chairs for graveside service
• Utilize mini-excavator to open grave – dependent on experience
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Communicate with customers and our team to facilitate dispatched services with customer-service oriented mindset

Requirements

• Full-time and part-time (up to 29 hours/week) opportunities available
• Ability to carry weight up to 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record from past 3-5 years
• Optional: Commercial Drivers License (qualifies applicant into a higher scale of the pay range)
• Typical work day: 7:30 am – 5:00 or 6:00 pm
