Job Description Summary
Production Operator is responsible to operate the working of the plant sections in AP Liquid Dept (reactors) / AP Dry Dept (powder processing / packing & labelling sections) at Taloja plant in shifts.Job Description
- This person will have to understand of the AP Liquid and Dry Dept. Keeps supervision totally aware of any process problems or changes as they occur.
- Performs in-process testing on the machine that he is responsible for. Good counting, addition and subtraction skills are a must. Legibility and accuracy on all paperwork is also an important necessity.
- This person will understand most aspects of the spray drying, milling, and screening machinery.
- This includes starting up, shutting down, and making process changes to maintain quality.
- Responsible for the adherence of safety procedures with respect to chemicals handling in plant during shift operations.
- The incumbent will be responsible for the safety of the contract labor allotted to him.
- Ensure proper functioning of machines and immediate reporting of breakdowns for rectification.
- Responsible for keeping stock of raw material for a batch on the shop floor in time.
- Responsible for adherence to SOPs for all plant operations, maintaining good housekeeping in plant. filling of online documents during shift and understanding of unit operation & unit process.
- Responsible for understanding of production requirements to achieve production target. Responsible for understanding of MSDS of different chemicals. Maintain ISO, JD Edwards and DCS operating systems into the department.
