POSITION OVERVIEW:
Price Family Dealerships is looking for a Detail/Lot Porter. The Detail/Lot Porter cleans vehicles inside and out. The Detailer/Lot Porter also performs regular maintenance (non-mechanical services), moves vehicles, and performs other duties assigned by the manager, all completed in a safe and timely manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

One to three years of detailing/porter experience (preferred)

Valid Drivers’ License 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs variety of vehicle cleaning tasks such as (but not limited to) washing, polishing, buffing, interior cleaning, and window cleaning

Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices

Applies revitalizers and preservative agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals  Cleans engine and engine departments with stem cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents

Inspects quality of work performed to ensure guest satisfaction

Maintain driveway cleanliness

Move vehicles in a timely manner to clear vehicles out of the driveway 

Bring vehicles down to customer waiting area to deliver when vehicles service is complete

 Clean and sanitize all high touch areas of the vehicle before delivering to the customer

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, WORK ENVIROMENTS, and WORK SCHEDULE: 

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.  Safely work with team to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 100 pounds. Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time without resting.  Ability to perform routine kneeling, crouching or crawling. WORK LOCATION:
This position is headquartered in Sunnyvale CA
Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Monday to Friday with some weekends/Holidays
