Gas Attendant

Kickstart Your Automotive Career as a Gas Attendant – Full or Part-Time | Simard Automotive

Want to break into the auto industry? Start here. We're not your average gas station. Simard Automotive is one of the last true full-service fuel stops in Alaska-and we're on the hunt for friendly, hands-on people who want to grow in the automotive world.

This isn't just about pumping gas- it's about representing a brand that cares, learning real shop skills, and building a future in automotive. If you're someone who takes pride in helping others, wants to learn, and loves staying active on the job, we want to meet you.

Why This Role is Different:

• You're the Front Line – Greet customers, check fluids, clean windshields, and deliver the best service in town.
• Hands-On Learning – Work shoulder-to-shoulder with service advisors and techs. Learn how cars work, help with light tire repairs, and assist with service writing.
• No Two Days Are the Same – Between customer care, cleaning duties, snow removal, and helping in the shop, it's an exciting, fast-paced role.
• Full-service is a lost art – But not at 768 Gaffney Road. You'll be part of a tradition that puts people first.

What We're Looking For:

• A friendly, respectful, and energetic attitude
• Customer service or shop experience is a plus- but we'll train the right person
• Tire experience or willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outside in all conditions
• A team player who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and jumps in to help

Perks & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
• Flexible schedules – full-time, part-time, and seasonal welcome
• NO Saturdays
• Full-time benefits include:
• Medical, dental, vision
• Retirement plan with company match
• Paid holidays & vacation
• Aflac & life insurance
• Fuel & parts discounts
• Shop usage for your family cars
• Gym membership reimbursement
• Weekly direct deposit
• Uniforms
• Career advancement paths
