Overview
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you'll support infrastructure automation, configuration management, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows, containerized delivery, and secure software delivery practices in a hybrid cloud environment. Your responsibilities include maintaining and extending infrastructure-as-code repositories using Terraform and OpenTofu, developing configuration-as-code assets with Ansible, and building GitHub Actions workflows for automation. You'll support containerized delivery using Docker and Kubernetes, integrate security practices into delivery pipelines including SAST and policy-as-code, and participate in agile development processes. The role requires hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools and practices, with a focus on extending existing engineering capabilities in a federal environment with security compliance requirements.
