Description
As an International Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in presenting our innovative solutions to clients in over **50 countries**. You will provide **technical sales support**, drive **sales growth**, and work closely with our **international teams** to develop new products and expand the **XVET brand** in the livestock sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in agricultural or animal health & nutrition businesses, particularly in the **monogastric animals**, and who thrives in a role that combines **technical expertise** with **sales acumen**. You will travel internationally a maximum of 20-25% of the time to build relationships, attend trade fairs, and help shape the future of animal health.
## Tasks
- Provide **technical sales support** to clients in **50+ countries**, focusing on poultry farming and feeding.
- Use your industry knowledge to **meet sales targets** and collaborate on the development of new products.
- Present the **XVET brand** at **seminars**, conferences, and international trade fairs.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with a **friendly, international team** to ensure excellence in customer service and product innovation.
## Requirements
- A **Bachelor’s degree** in **Veterinary Medicine**, **Agronomy**, **Zootechnics**, **Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science or Biology.**
- **Solid knowledge of the poultry & swine industries**; familiarity with other species is a plus.
- **Fluent in English**; **German** is a bonus for effective communication within our international team.
- **Strong communication**, **presentation**, and **problem-solving skills**.
- Prior experience in **sales** or technical sales within the animal health or agriculture sector is a plus.
- A willingness to travel internationally (20-25% of the time).
