Pescanova Italia, part of the Pescanova Group and a leading seafood company, is looking for a Supply Chain & Accounting Specialist.
We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in the seafood industry or the FMCG/food sector.
Mission: Ensure accurate control and coordination of logistics operations and related financial flows. The role acts as a logistics administration specialist, supporting activities related to procurement and cost recording of goods and inbound/outbound transport, while working closely with Supply Chain and Finance to ensure timely invoicing cycles and compliance with accounting deadlines.
Reporting Line: this role will report directly to the Country Supply Chain Manager, Marco de Vanna, and will work in close coordination with the Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor orders, deliveries, and customer shipments to ensure service levels.
Validate transport invoices and ensure alignment with agreed tariffs and contracted conditions.
Control logistics costs, including transport rates by customer, destination, and delivery point across Italy.
Track and reconcile discrepancies between invoiced and agreed logistics services.
Ensure proper allocation and registration of logistics costs in coordination with Finance.
Maintain accurate documentation (delivery notes, invoices, transport records).
Coordinate with logistics providers, suppliers, and production plants.
Prepare reports on transport costs, delivery performance, and deviations.
Support continuous improvement of logistics cost control and processes to ensure timely invoicing cycles and compliance with accounting deadlines.
Manage and keep master data up to date in ERP systems.
Requirements
Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
3–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or accounting/controlling roles, ideally in the food, seafood, or perishable goods sectors.
Experience in transport cost control, invoicing, or logistics administration.
ERP experience (SAP or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Italian and English language skills for professional purposes.
