We at Coforge are hiring Position (21528) with the following skill set.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with 6–9 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-stack development, cloud-native solutions, and scalable web architectures.
This role requires advanced experience with PHP, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, NestJS, React, AWS, Laravel, and WordPress. The candidate will play a key role in designing technical solutions, driving architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-quality applications in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance full-stack applications.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of modern web platforms and backend services.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using React and Next.js.
- Build robust backend services and APIs using Node.js, NestJS, PHP, and Laravel.
- Lead WordPress development initiatives including custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Design teams to deliver business solutions.
- Drive technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through technical guidance and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 6–9 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel development.
- Advanced experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js and NestJS frameworks.
- Strong frontend development experience using React.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, ECS, or similar.
- Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Docker, containerized environments, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience implementing CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience working in large-scale or high-availability production environments.
- Knowledge of web accessibility and frontend optimization best practices.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineering teams.
