Member Service Representative I/II (Teller)

O Bee Credit Union is hiring a Member Service Representative I/II to join our amazing team. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting our mission, our members, and our one-of-a-kind company culture.

What You’ll Do:

As our Member Service Representative, you’ll deliver exceptional service while helping members manage their financial needs. You’ll perform teller transactions, identify opportunities to recommend products and services, and build meaningful relationships that support members’ financial well-being.

The Details:

• Location: Tumwater Branch - Tumwater, WA
• Pay Range: The range for an MSR I is $19.35 to $29.03 per hour with a target range of $19.35-$24.19 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. The range for an MSR II is $22.12 to $33.18 per hour with a target range of $22.12-$27.65 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. MSR I and II also have the ability to earn an average of $500 per month in commission.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional member service by building relationships and engaging in meaningful conversations.
• Ask thoughtful, financially focused questions to support members’ financial well-being.
• Maintain strong knowledge of O Bee products and services.
• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires, and account transfers.
• Assist members with account inquiries, transaction history, and issue resolution.
• Escalate complex concerns to appropriate team members.
• Follow all BSA and credit union procedures, including completing CTRs and supporting SAR reporting.

This position is open for either a Member Service Representative I or a Member Service Representative II. Level selection will be based on experience.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one year of customer service experience.
• Must be able to pass a background and credit check and must be      bondable. 
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
