Job Description
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives, and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Design and develop scripts on the HUE Cloudera based on defined requirements, conduct UAT with users to validate functionality, and execute deployment into the production environment.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets using tools such as Power BI, Hue, Impala, and Hive. Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Design and implement data models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Optimize data processes and workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Perform regular audits and validation checks to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed. Design and implement key metrics to create comprehensive Power BI dashboards for monitoring performance, identifying risks, and improving SLA.
- Maintain and improve SQL queries and Power BI dashboards to ensure seamless decision-making for management and operations teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with internal and external parties.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with project teams and various business units.
- Strong knowledge of banking systems.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and complete tasks within SLA and assigned timelines.
