We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable NASDU Accredited PAYE Security Dog Handlers to join our growing team for ongoing and ad-hoc assignments.Our work covers a wide range of sectors including commercial premises, industrial sites, construction projects, events, festivals and mobile patrol operations.We are looking for professional individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate excellent reliability, and can represent our company to the highest standards. The RoleAs a Security Dog Handler, your duties may include:Static guarding of commercial and industrial sitesMobile patrols and perimeter inspectionsConducting foot patrols with your security dogMaintaining accurate incident and patrol reports using mobile devicesLiaising with clients, members of the public and control teamsSupporting event and festival security operations where requiredWork is primarily based across Derby and the wider East Midlands, with a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts available. Essential RequirementsApplicants must:Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licenceHold a recognised Security Dog Handler qualification from NASDU Have a suitable trained security dog Hold a full UK manual driving licenceHave access to a reliable vehicle for travelling to assignmentsBe fluent in written and spoken EnglishHave excellent communication and customer service skillsBe confident working independently and as part of a teamBe able to provide a 5-year checkable work or education history in line with BS7858 vetting standardsBe comfortable using smartphones/tablets and reporting softwarePreferred ExperiencePrevious experience in security dog handlingExperience within static guarding, patrol or mobile response rolesStrong observational and incident management skillsFlexible availability, including weekends and nightsHowever, we value attitude, professionalism and reliability just as highly as experience. Why Join NVC Security?At NVC Security, we pride ourselves on professionalism, integrity and teamwork.
