Overview
Position summary
The warehouse driver will be responsible for:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Picking and filling orders from stock.
- Packing and shipping orders.
- Organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
- Assembling tools and components.
- Cleaning warehouse, emptying garbage.
- Operating company pickup to retrieve materials/make deliveries.
- Operating forklift per OHSA training, training provided.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Load materials and equipment onto the truck for delivery.
- Properly brace, strap, pad, etc., the load to prevent shifting or damage while in transit.
- Verifies and signs receiving documents ensuring dimensions, specifications, and count have been verified.
- Obtains signatures on packing lists from customers for equipment or materials delivered.
- Maintains driver log according to regulations.
- Signs off forklift material requisition signifying:
- Dimensions, specifications, and count have been verified and is complete as defined by job paperwork and cut list.
- The products are properly marked, packaged, and placed in a queue for the next processing step.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
- Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
- Complete all other work duties as assigned
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA’s and certifications)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability and willingness to complete forklift certification training provided by Cretex
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
Desirable Criteria & Qualifications
- Certificates
- Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations
Physical & Environmental Demands
Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.
