About the role

As a Regulatory Affairs Associate, you will play a critical role in bringing innovative products to market by ensuring regulatory compliance across medicines, devices, cosmetics, and food portfolios while supporting commercial growth objectives. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Quality, to enable compliant product claims, advertising, promotions, and lifecycle management activities.

Acting as a trusted regulatory advisor, you will help navigate evolving regulations, maintain product compliance, and represent the organization with regulators, trade associations, and external stakeholders where required. You will collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities, solve regulatory challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and compliance.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to regulatory strategy, influence business decisions, and help deliver high-quality products to consumers with confidence.

A day in the life

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead preparation of new regulatory documents, dossiers and applications to enable new products to be launched and maintained in market, with the correct alignment and compliance to regulations, proactively seeking innovative and rapid path to market.
  • Analyze regulatory issues and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including global colleagues. Lead development of strategies and plans to mitigate, for the company to deliver products backed by science that are robust and aligned with business needs.
  • Manage compliance within defined portfolio/activity streams in line with Haleon guidelines - support key processes and ways of working (e.g., in relation to Haleon CMC, quality, product labelling requirements as well as local MoH regulations). Propose solutions to identified issues and implement.
  • Support the development of the strongest claims/advertising and promotion possible within the regulations, ensuring risks are appropriately addressed and communicated.
  • Proactively identify potential regulatory risks and manage impact of regulatory changes within defined scope of responsibility on the business.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role

  • BSc Pharmacy and Registered Pharmacist in Singapore
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs
  • Fluent in English
  • General knowledge of the new product development process including formulation and re-formulation activities, stability study requirements, GMP’s manufacturing controls and validation processes.
  • Knowledge of new and existing competitive products, their regulatory classification, status, claims and indications.  Broad knowledge of the local prescription drug market.
  • Awareness of political, legal, economic, consumer, marketing and socio-cultural issues affecting and defining the regulatory environment.
