Senior Project Manager - Night Shift

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager oversees day-to-day project activities and ensures production and project objectives are met, including budgetary and KPI requirements. This role applies advanced project management methodologies to manage project execution, resolve issues, and develop and implement technical, operational, and process solutions that address complex client and business requirements.The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify emerging business needs, drive process improvements, and support successful outcomes for assigned accounts.

 

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client relationships and act as the primary escalation point for client, operational, and project-related issues.
• Identify client and business needs, analyse operational challenges, and develop scalable technical, operational, and process solutions.
• Present project updates, solution recommendations, and strategic initiatives to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate complex and strategic projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Provide project scoping, effort estimates, and operational input to support quotation development.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, quality standards, delivery expectations, budgets, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee project and account kick-offs, project tracking, status reporting, stakeholder communications, and project documentation.
• Lead post-mortems, root cause analyses, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency.
• Analyse project and operational performance data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and support strategic decision-making.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate project and account risks while escalating critical issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Recommend and implement process, workflow, automation, and AI-enabled improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, profitability, and stakeholder experience.
• Develop and promote best practices that support evolving client, operational, and business requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the localization/translation industry.
• AI literate, with the ability to effectively utilize AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity, project delivery, analysis, communication, and process improvement.
• Strong background in project delivery, client services, account management, and team leadership.
• PMP certification and multilingual skills preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Knowledge of localization workflows, internationalization (i18n), localization (l10n), and quality/ISO standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and operational concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into operational and technical solutions.
• Skilled in project financial management, forecasting, reporting, KPI management, and performance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, evaluate multiple factors, and drive issues through resolution.
• Ability to anticipate client and team needs, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and achieve objectives with limited oversight.
• Collaborative team player with experience working across Technical Services, QA, Supply Chain, Business Development, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong focus on quality, operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and account growth.
