Hiring Range
$68,000.00 - $93,500.00/Annual Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Overview
The Associate iCare Applications Analyst assists with the development, maintenance, and upgrade of the respective Epic application(s) by investigating, analyzing, and documenting current and future state processes, ensuring successful integration between clinical/business practice and the relevant Epic application. Works as part of a team to translate clinical and business needs into EMR functionality. Coordinates all issues that arise during a project, participates in system configuration and implementation, and communicates and trains on application functionality.
The Analyst must be able to provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis for issue resolution.
What you will do
- Responsible for build, maintenance, and optimization for one (1) Epic application
- Investigate, analyze, and document current and future state processes to ensure successful integration
between clinical/business practice and the relevant Epic application - Develop comprehensive knowledge of respective Epic application and its system infrastructure. Provide
technical and clinical operational advice in the design, programming, testing, and implementation of the
application - Coordinate all issues that arise during the project for their application. Fulfill multiple roles throughout the
project lifecycle to include design, implementation, and long-term support. - Participate as part of the team in system configuration and implementation to include on-going maintenance,
process improvement, change management process, along with communicating and training on application
functionality - Assist with evaluation of implemented solutions, post implementation change management, and supports
users in maintaining changed workflow and technological processes. Gather feedback from end-users,
analyze, make recommendations, and implement suitable solutions. - Develop report specifications and work closely with report writers to ensure operational, federal, and
regulatory reporting requirements are met.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
- Bachelors Degree, or Technical License in Healthcare Admin, Business Admin, Clinical Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology or sciences (RN, RRT, RPH, ARNP, APP or like programs) (Preferred)
Experience
- 2 years in Healthcare, preferably in an Integrated Delivery Network in clinical care, operations or IT Support role. Technical License or Degree can be substituted for experience. (Required)
- Epic experience as an end user, credentialed trainer or operations super user (Preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- 1 Epic certification or Epic proficiency in primary application area required within 180 days of hire
- On-call coverage / Downtime support
- Ability to travel to hospital, provider and Revenue Cycle locations within the RHS network
Licenses and Certifications
- Epic Certification - EPIC within 180 Days (Required)
