Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Wilmington, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and assigned security-related duties at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and document security-related activities, observations, and incident information in required logs or reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
