About the role:

 

 

The purpose of the Performance Media Director is to shape and define industry leading Performance Media strategies for our customers across Zenith. The Performance Media Director is the key partner of all senior customer relationships across Performance Media. This role exists to deliver, with your Performance Media team, across (but not limited to) Search Engine Marketing, Programmatic, Video, Social and Mobile channels and platforms delivering accurate and timely reports, optimisation implementation that drives business outcomes for our customers 

 

 

 

What you will do with us:

  • Leads and Manage your team’s outputs: from planning, implementations, optimization, reporting, & billing. You will manage your team to deliver to deadline and with 100% accuracy.
  • A figurehead in how to behave with peers, other teams, media owners, creative agencies and other relevant stakeholders. relations. Always looking to foster positive Be the first major escalation point for larger performance media issues.
  • Provide thought leadership to key performance media topics, develops a POV around performance recommendations and developments.
  • Ensure Zenith has a strong voice as a Digital & Technology lead in the market. This may be done through published awards and case studies (Google Honours), opinion pieces, speaking events, etc.
  • Delegating, Task Managing up, down and across well. involved where necessary and applicable
  • Work closely with Performance Managers on the overall management of teams (planning outputs, upskilling in performance channels) to deliver happy clients; and efficient, effective, happy and motivated teams.
  • Always be involved in upstream responses to briefs and bigger strategies. Quality control implementation responses and plans: For example, review look and feel, storytelling, and ensure well-reasoned and substantiated arguments, etc.
  • Works hand in hand with Group Performance Director on the team's media negotiation: make sure teams are using deals as a starting point and are negotiating our media buys and developing PMPs/programmatic firsts where possible.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders within the Publicis Groupe, ensuring that products deliver benefits to clients and meet our KPIs

 

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

  • Proven experience in Performance Media.
  • Strong experience in Paid Search, Social and Programmatic.
  • Must have an excellent grasp of planning & activation
  • Experienced in working knowledge of Google paid search platforms (Google Ads, SA360), the Microsoft Advertising platform, as well as key platforms like Meta, LI, TTD etc
  • Managerial experience preferred
  • Strong communication experience, both written and verbal
  • Solution seeker and strong analytical thinking.
