Description
The Business Banking Specialist is responsible for providing operational, technical, and administrative support for our business banking and cash management products and services. This position works closely with Business Banking team to ensure efficient department operations, timely completion of assigned tasks, exceptional customer service, and compliance with Bank policies and procedures. The role supports the onboarding, administration, training, and ongoing maintenance of business banking, treasury management, and digital banking solutions while serving as a resource for both business customers and internal staff.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional service experience to internal and external customers every time!
- Ensure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and security controls.
- Support the onboarding, setup, maintenance, and on-going administration of business banking and cash management customers.
- Maintain customer records, review documentation and agreements, monitor product usage, and assist with operational support activities.
- Serve as a resource for business customers and internal employees by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues related to business banking services and solutions.
- Provide training and ongoing support to business customers and internal staff regarding business banking products, services, and operational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with all internal departments to support customer needs.
- Assist with maintaining, reviewing, and updating policies, procedures, and operational workflows related to business banking products and services.
- Assist in conducting product reviews and preparing documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the review of business banking-related applications and documentation in accordance with established Bank guidelines.
- Maintain professional knowledge through training, seminars, workshops, and continuing education opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field preferred.
- Banking experience preferred.
- Experience supporting business banking, treasury management, cash management, digital banking, or related financial services products preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of business banking, cash management, and digital banking services.
- Knowledge of banking operations and the functions of various internal departments.
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
