Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of machining operations using modern machine tools to manufacture and repair components according to engineering drawings and specified tolerances. The role requires experience in an industrial workshop, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all machining activities in the workshop, including turning, milling, drilling, shaping, and related operations.
- Set up and operate a variety of modern machine tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Manufacture and repair components to precise dimensions and fine tolerances.
- Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure proper housekeeping practices.
- Follow all company HSE policies and procedures while working in the workshop and at site.
- Support maintenance and repair activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Technical Secondary School Certificate or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in machining operations, including the use of modern machining, milling, drilling, and shaping equipment.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar industrial facilities.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances.
- Good understanding of machining processes, workshop practices, and safety standards.

- Must be physically fit and able to work in industrial environments.
