Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• High-frequency and DC characterization of transistors and integrated circuits, including S-parameter measurements up to 120 GHz, DC transistor characteristics measurements, RF linearity measurements, and RF high-power characterization
• Design and improve measurement systems to enhance laboratory capabilities and measurement accuracy
• Develop lab automation software to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency, leveraging programming skills and knowledge of lab equipment automation
• Introduce and improve processes for measurement system verification and data management to ensure quality and traceability
• Support laboratory organization in the areas of documentation, maintenance, calibration, inventory management, and investment planning

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or completed training as an electronics technician
• At least 1-3 year of professional experience in a relevant field, ideally in RF characterization or a related area
• Profound experience in the electrical characterization of semiconductor components, with a solid understanding of RF electronics and RF testing
• Good knowledge of the operating principles of semiconductor transistors, providing a strong foundation for RF characterization work
• Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB, or similar scripting languages used for lab equipment automation, ideally with knowledge in object-oriented programming and AI assisted code generation
• Structured and analytical working style with high independence and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a strong dedication to laboratory work
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
