WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Bonding Technician, you'll be a key member of our Bonding Assembly Team and will help with structural assembly of bonded carbon and other composite parts. This includes surface prep, fit, and bonding of major and minor assemblies, as well as mechanical fit and assembly of flight controls, wingtips, and windshields used in our award-winning aircraft. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in quality workmanship, and are interested in developing a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing. This position requires limited experience (basic hand and power tools) and is a great way to start your career at Epic.
Responsibilities
- Working safely by following established operating procedures
- Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support continuous improvement efforts and team objectives
- Maintaining records as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Familiar with hand and power tools
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is helpful but not required
- Ability to maintain a high degree of quality
- Must work well independently and in a team with a great attitude
- Open to new ideas, challenges, and learning opportunities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the majority of the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to lift materials and equipment as required
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
Day Shift
Monday – Friday
6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Starting Pay: $21.07/hour
Afternoon Shift
Monday – Thursday
2:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Starting Pay: $22.07/hour (includes shift differential)
