Senior Fashion Designer (sweater)

We are now seeking a full-time Senior Fashion Designer (Sweater) to join our team.   

What you'll do is to...…

• Develop design collections based on customer needs and market trends, ensuring alignment with quality standards and budget requirements.

• Prepare and present design materials, including trend boards, design sketches, illustrations, and CADs, for internal teams and client presentations.

• Conduct in-depth trend research and project creative directions to develop commercially viable collections, leading to detailed specifications for fittings and production.

• Monitor the design schedule to ensure timely completion in alignment with the development calendar.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams, including digital designers, merchandisers, suppliers, and factory technicians, to ensure smooth execution from concept to production.

• Maintain a strong awareness of yarns, stitches, and knitwear innovation. Explore new materials and techniques relevant to customer profiles.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

You will thrive in the role if you ……

• Higher Diploma or above in Knitwear Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.

• Strong product and yarn knowledge, with a solid understanding of the sweater development process.

• Excellent illustration skills and the ability to produce creative and focused visual presentations.

• Proven creative abilities and a strong design sense.

• Good awareness of trends and their relevance to the brand, paired with an excellent sense of color.

• Strong command of spoken and written English.

• Proficiency in AI, PSD, and Adobe Illustrator; experience with Apex and CLO is a plus.

• Familiarity with the US market would be an advantage.
