Training Requirements
Candidates without prior field engineering experience will be required to undergo a structured on-site field training programme lasting approximately 6 months.
Your Background
Relevant diploma holder, knowledge in marine/mechanical engineering is a plus.
Relevant experience in a coordination or supervisory role with direct interface with customers, ideally in service or maintenance.
At least 2 years of experience in the marine or power generation field, working as a service engineer preferred.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate service schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.
Strong communication skills for coordinating between customers, service teams, and vendors.
Customer-focused approach, with the ability to resolve conflicts, clarify requirements, and ensure client satisfaction.
Flexibility and willingness to solve issues outside regular hours due to the nature of service work scheduling.
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems will be a plus
Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
Proficiency in English is required; other languages can be a plus
